The Great Holiday House
Located in the heart of the Cote-des-Bar vineyard, a few dozen kilometers from Troyes, its old city and its factory outlets, from the lakes of the Forêt d'Orient or from the Nigloland amusement park, The Great Holiday House is a character house, complemented by a quiet and relaxing landscaped garden, tastefully decorated in the spirit of contemporary interiors.
Five spacious and bright living areas, luxuriously equipped, in which the wood occupies a prominent place, allow to confortably host six people :

Renovated in order to respect the environment, using ecological and locally producted materials, heated in winter by a air-water heat pump, The Great Holiday House is a charming eco-cottage labeled four ears.

Most of the furniture of the gite was created by Italian designers or by high-end furniture brands (Roche Bobois or Cinna sofas ; Hulsta, Bo concept or Gauthier bedrooms ; Record kitchen ; Ligne Roset, Desalto, Cappellini tables ; Habitat chairs ; Artemide or Lirio lighting ; Dorn Bracht or Hans Grohe valves, ...).
Paintings or photographs of contemporary artists adorn the walls.
The refined decoration gives a good place to natural materials such as wood, glass, metal, stone, paper, corian. Two libraries with many fine books and quality magazines decorate the living room and the larger bedroom.
The living areas are spacious and open; two bay windows each offer breathtaking views over the gardens and surrounding countryside.
The cottage is equipped with household appliances and audio and video equipment offering all modern comfort (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave oven, convection oven, coffee maker, toaster; stereo in high definition, DVD player, flat-screen TV with satellite reception, wi-fi internet connection ...).
The bathroom allows to take a shower, take a bath or just wash in large basins designed by Philippe Starck. It is equipped with an infrared space heater which warms the air.
In the landscaped garden, a large variety of shrubs and perennials bloom all year round. Arches, fences and other bases on which grow vines reinforce the vertical aspect of the garden. A brook, the Artaud, sinks at the bottom of the property. Former fruit trees and berry bushes were planted nearby. Several terraces were arranged at various locations of the landscape in order to multiply the places of rest.
